What is EnvironSoil™ Coco Coir

Coco peat, also known as coir or coconut fibers, is a natural and sustainable growing medium derived from coconut husks. While the coconuts themselves are primarily used in the food and cosmetics industries, the husks have multiple uses.

The coco peat is compressed and packaged for easy transportation. When it reaches its destination, growers can simply lay out the compressed and dried products, and then rehydrate them on-site. This eliminates the need to transport wet coco peat, saving time and costs.
